Dwan Miller, Founder and CEO of Dwan Miller Photography, LLC

My name is Dwan Miller and I was born and raised, as a twin, in the proud state of North Carolina. I'm a Retired Army Veteran with over 20 years of military experience and currently working as a Department of the Army Civilian on Fort Riley, Kansas. I am a self taught professional freelance photographer and a small business entrepreneur. I became the CEO/Owner of Dwan Miller Photography in February 2019 and now my passion has grown into a Limited Liability Company with an indoor photography studio located downtown Manhattan, Kansas to better serve the community.

My passion for photography derived from the love and connection I have with my daughters. My oldest daughter pursed photography and has now graduated college with a degree in graphics design and a minor in photography. We shared this passion daily and it has made our love for photography grow even stronger. I became a photographer with the goal of telling a story through photos and with the goal of helping others. My love for this dream motivates me to travel around the world by providing quality photos at affordable & reasonable prices. My photography style encompasses fashion, glamour, editorial, lifestyle and business headshots. 

I’ve been published in several magazines: The Manhattan Magazine- Manhattan Kansas, The KC Voyage Magazine- Kansas City, Kansas, The Sunflower Magazine- State of Kansas, The Babe Watch Magazine- US, The Feature Magazine- International Creative Publication and the Heartland International Fashion Week Magazine- International Design & Fashion Publication. 

I have collaborated with several local and small businesses; The Goolsby Restaurant, Bellus Academy- Beauty & Wellness School, Bling Glamour- Women’s Clothing Store, The Manhattan Juneteenth Committee, The Black Entrepreneurs of Flint Hills and the Heartland International Fashion Week-Modeling agency. 

My goals for 2026 is to publish a Lifestyle & Fashion Photography Magazine (Memories and Infinity), write a digital tutorial on how to pose, write book about photography, create a photography clothing line and start a mentorship program (The Blueprint - Never Lose Focus) that teaches incoming photographers & content creators.
